New Paragliding Competition Rule Book for Review (v21)

The PCC has released a new version of the New Zealand Paragliding Competition Rule book which is now available for review and will become official on the 1st of August 2019 unless there is a significant objection.

You can download the draft version here: here.

A summary of the major changes:

1. Overseas FAI Cat2 comps can no longer be declared as Overseas Leagues
2. Changes to the infamous "nomination rule" in 4.4.3 - pilots can now inform the PCC about overseas FAI Cat2 competitions after the event to have them count towards their NZPRS score. The number of these that can be counted at any time is 2, irrespective of season.
3. To represent NZ at a team event (such as the World Championships) as pilot must have flown in a New Zealand sanctioned FAI Cat2 event within the last three years.
